With Processes, Brooklyn-based improviser and bassist Evan Palmer presents 10 pieces recorded with an accomplished trio of musicians: pianist Hidemi Akaiwa and acclaimed drummer and percussionist Francisco Mela. Processes explores a wide array of sounds and atmospheres for the piano trio. As experienced improvisers, the trio creates 10 different forms in the present moment, evoking emotion, feeling, nature, history, and memory.
